One of the greatest minimal important costs that medical providers have is they have to spend to store patient files for many years even after the patient is not longer with them. The nice thing about this is that the new doctor can request all the files and within minutes he will have it sitting in front of him. As you can probably imagine, this would be very beneficial if you get your blood taken and you have to wait for the results to come back because now the results will all be posted on the vendors servers.
